McKnight (Wallace) Family

During their travels from Scotland to the Colonies, several McKnights were erroneously listed as McKnitt by clerks or ship officers. Wherever the name McKnitt is encountered in connection with this family, it should be understood to be McKnight. The earliest McKnight for whom we have a record is James McKnight.
